How could anyone not fall in love with this little one!? He's named Happy, because that's just what he is! Even after he had been in the hands of someone who, let's just say, didn't fully appreciate Happy, he maintained his happy disposition and hopeful outlook. Saved on the steps of a high kill shelter, Happy transitioned well to his foster home and even learned he could trust males again when shown love and patience. Have you ever known a water loving Chihuahua? Happy can't get enough of it. If there's a bucket, a bowl, a cup of water nearby, Happy is in it! But, he looks so cute doing it! He also loves playing with his foster siblings and gets along well with all of them. Recommended for children over 7yrs old. Like most small dogs, Happy attaches to a particular person in the family, usually the Alpha female and only wants to be around her all the time. Happy is smart and took to crate training fairly quickly. Born early April he needed a little more time for his body to catch up so that he could take to his housebreaking, but he's now able to go most of the night without going out. Happy is up to date on all of his vaccinations and is heart worm negative. He's on preventative, has been neutered and is ready to find his forever home.
