Trip was playing possum on the side of the road and it worked, because a local animal rescuer stopped to check on him. Surprise, he was just resting and she took him to the shelter where we pulled him. Trip was partly trained by someone. He already knows simple commands - sit, down and shake. He is very smart and would do best with someone willng to spend time expending her physical and mental energy. He would be great for another med-xlarge active dog to play and romp with and an older companion would help guide him in the right direction. Trip is a loving, loyal boy and will make someone a wonderful companion as long as they put in the time and effort to direct and focus his energy. Like most dogs, the more effort put into his training, the better companion you'll get. Trip has been neutered, he's on heartworm preventative and up to date on all of his vaccinations.
