Sweet little Ava was hit by a car, but not severely injured. Believe it or not, that's probably the best thing that could've happened to this little girl because she would have surely died from her horrible heartworm infestation she had. Ava has completed treatment and is now completely healthy and ready to find the loving home she deserves. Ava is about 2 years old and thought to be a Boston Terrier mix. She is lively and loving, eager to go anywhere or do anything with her human. Ava gets along with most non-aggressive dogs, but does think she's the ruler of the roost so as long as the other animals in the home realize that, all will be well. She's never been around cats, but terriers and cats don't usually mix. We will not place Ava in a home with small children as she tends to nip when excited. She doesn't mean harm, but we'd rather err on the side of caution. Ava is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and now on heartworm preventative to keep her healthy.
